Olympiacos crest is a Laurel-crowned Adolescent in the club’s colours, red and white. These colours symbolise passion and flame (red), as well as purity and clarity (white). Moreover, the Adolescent -an ever victorious champion- stands for “fair play” and sportsmanship. It was selected to fit the club’s name “Olympiacos” and invoke the ideals represented by the Olympic Games from ancient times until today.
