Atromitos FC symbol (emblem) is the star. Ten years after the team’s foundation in Athens’s center in 1923, the squad moved to Peristeri and merged with the local team of Asteras. Asteras, which was an independent club, offered its symbol, the star, which was placed on the new team’s shirt as well as its colors, the “blue” and the “white”; on the other hand, Atromitos kept its name. In such a way, on 1932-1933, Atromitos was born featuring a blue-white shirt, with the star as an emblem and Peristeri as home pitch.
