The MVP of the 6th matchday was awarded on Saturday, October 13, to Željko Kalajdžić playing for Platanias, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the vice president of ETANAP-SAMARIA, Mr Manolis Apostolakis.

Following the ceremony, the Platanias player expressed his gratitude for his teammates, pointing out at the same the exceptional team work in the club by all the players, the technical staff and the administration of Platanias.

The Serbian wished to have a good performance and for beautiful goals to be scored in every matchday through the collective effort of the players so that the Platanias club will quickly achieve its goal to not be demoted.

In reply to a question on his presence so far in Platanias, he stated: "I am very happy to be playing in an organised and well managed club where I have found the right conditions so that I can play football."

As regards the club's classification in the top positions of the ranking, he stated: "Platanias treats every game separately. Despite the positive results so far, we must not get carried away because the championship is tough and we have to fight to safely ensure our staying in the League."

As regards the next matchday match against OFI, he stated: "This is a tough opponent experienced in the 1st Division, but I hope that with the support of the fans of Platanias, my team will get the three points."

Finally, he sent a message to the Cretan fans by pointing out that: "The game against OFI must and will be a celebration of Cretan football."
