The BEST GOAL award for the 2nd matchday was awarded on Thursday, September 13, to Tomas De Vincenti playing for PAS Giannina, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by Mr Eduardo Kontogiorgakis.

After the ceremony, the PAS Giannina player stated:

"I wish to thank Mr Kontogiorgakis for presenting me with this award, as well as NOVA. This award goes for all my teammates and not just for me. I was at the right place when I received the ball from a great cross by Patsatzoglou. I dedicate this to the fans and my family. Now this game is past and we must focus on the coming matches."

Mr Eduardo Kontogiorgakis stated:

"It gives me great pleasure to present this award to an Argentine. I believe it will be one of the best goals of the season and an honour for PAS Giannina. With this goal Tomas helped PAS Giannina to get one invaluable point. I hope he continues like that."
