Question by Dimitris Polemis
How do you feel when scoring a goal while playing for Olympiacos? Do you feel the same way you felt when you scored a goal for the previous teams you played for?
The feeling of the ball in the nets is everywhere the same. Given this, the whole atmosphere of a club, the reaction of the fans, the importance of the goal are definitely significant as well. Everything counts. The level in Olympiacos is high and this is why I am happier with every goal I score!
Question by Vangelis P., Panayotis Christoforou
What is the reason behind your improvement in comparison to last season?
I worked and continue to work a lot. Every day. No exceptions. No pauses. This is the only way for a player to build on any talents he may have. It's a continuous process. Confidence is also very important. I kicked off the season very dynamically. This kept me going. Psychology is always very important for a player.
Question by L. Kourvas
Is there a reason why you don't use social media? If so, would you like to tell us why?
There is no particular reason. I generally take a look at social media, but I don't think they should be a great part of my everyday life.
Question by Panayotis Lytras
What is the thing you enjoy the most in Olympiacos?
It's a team that does not accept failure or loss in general. It's not only the fans. You see that the people of the team as well are concerned when the team does not win. I particularly enjoy this because it proves that the team and the club in general have very high aspirations. The goal is distinction, winning and constantly improving. These goals are aligned with my mentality. Given this, I of course enjoy the atmosphere in the team and the general feeling, but life in Greece as well. Olympiacos gave me an opportunity to experience beautiful things.
Question by Konstantina Diveris
Although it's still very early to be talking about this, have you thought about becoming a coach after you retire as a player?
I don't know this. Tactics fascinate me, but I cannot think that far ahead right now. I still have many things to achieve as a player before making any further plans.
Question by Fotis Soulopoulos
How was your childhood? What did you like to do? Did you always love football so much?
Yes, I loved football since I was a little boy. It's in my people's blood so to speak! Wherever there was a ball, I was right behind it!
Question by Traianos Christos
What did you expect to find when coming to Olympiacos, what did you find and what do you expect for the future?
It was a great step in my career. It is a great, influential European club that is always among the top-flight European clubs. This is what I found coming here. I found the idea of playing at top level thrilling and the fact that for Olympiacos anything less than the first place is considered a "failure", gives me an extra motive to become better. Given this, I expect the team to improve even more and achieve even greater distinctions, both in Greece and on a European level.
Question by Konstantinos Kevrekidis
What do you think about the fans of the team and Gate 7 fans in particular?
It may sound like a cliché, but they are the best! The atmosphere in the stadium is amazing, with their chants when we score a goal. Even when they complain, we all bear in mind that they do this because they love Olympiacos. We love them a lot too and we want to always make them happy.
Question by Panayotis Trafalis
Is there an aspect in your game that you can improve? If so, which is it?
Without sounding too modest, I want to improve in all aspects. I am still a new player and I learn something new every day. I always add new things in my game and I feel like I learn something in every match. And every training session as well. It's important for me to be feeling like this. It helps me remain humble and work constantly, as I said before.
Question by Konstantinos Kostorizos, Konstantinos Vyzas
Would you wish to remain in Olympiacos for many years to come?
Yes, I would love that. I love Olympiacos, I love the fans, I love Piraeus and Greece in general. Football is highly unpredictable for a professional player, however I like that my name is connected to the greatest club in Greece and one of the greatest clubs in Europe.
Question by Konstantinos Sarakiniotis
Do you have a specific habit before matches? Some kind of a charm?
From the moment I step into the team's coach bus and until I change and go on the pitch for the warm-up, I like to listen to music. I put on my headphones and think about everything we worked on for the match with the team. There is no other particular ritual.
Question by Ioannis Dretas
You are one of the best tacticians in the Greek championship. What characteristics are necessary for a player, of any age, so that he can understand and apply as best as possible the instructions of the coach on the pitch?
The will to "read football" and not just "play football". And by that I mean to study as much as possible. A player, besides his natural characteristics, also needs to sharpen his mind. During the match, the player must be FOCUSED. He must never let his attention drift from his teammates, his opponents and the instructions of the coach from the bench. Many things change during a match and the player must always be concentrated on the game. Nowhere else but the game. With concentration and dedication on the match, you can even cover your weak points and constantly improve.
Question by Leonidas Serepas
What are your hobbies?
I spend my spare time with my family. I like being with my people that I love; as regards entertainment, I don't do anything extreme. I enjoy a dinner, a coffee, a movie at home, videogames, music and reading.
Question by Konstantinos Chamilothoris
With which of your teammates do you work better with as regards the attacking build-up play of Olympiacos?
With Fortounis and Ideye due to the triangle we form from my wing in attack. I receive and pass the ball from one to the other; or when I am forwarded correctly in the opponent's half, I then receive the ball and complete the move. We work very well in attack, whereas in defense, my work has more to do with helping the player that covers my wing.
Question by Paraskevas Dimitropoulos
In your opinion, how far can the team go in Europa League?
I believe that we can make it in this round and qualify in the round of 16. It depends on us: we should play beautiful and efficient football and turn this into results and a qualification.
Question by Konstantina Karalexidou
Do you prefer Ronaldo or Messi?
Oh, that's a hard question. I would say Cristiano because there is some additional attachment due to his nationality.
Question by Alkmini Agapitidis
With which of your teammates do you hang out?
I am naturally closer to the Portuguese and Brazilian of the players our team. However, I also hang out with the Spanish-speaking players, whereas, believe it or not, I also enjoy the company of the kit managers and the medical staff with whom we have fun and laugh a lot before and after the training sessions as well as when traveling with the team.
Question by Stella Tsakiridis
Were you not a footballer, what would you rather be? How does a Brazilian feel in Greece and in Piraeus? Would you be able to stay in Greece and Olympiacos for ever?
I cannot imagine my life without football. It's honestly very hard for me to answer this question. As regards Greece and Olympiacos, I like it very much here. It's a hospitable country with warm people. Despite the problems they face, Greeks never stop smiling. I love this, it's something very beautiful and positive. I would like to stay in Greece and Olympiacos for many years.
Question by Christos Karayannis
Hello, Seba! Can you tell us what you did in summer and you improved so much this year? Your performance this season has really nothing to do with your performance last year. You were very good last year too of course, but you did not add much to the team's attack. This year, you are exceptional both on attack and on defence. So, what is the reason behind this change? I wish you all the best for the future; I hope you will have no injuries and that your performance will keep improving!
Hello to you too! Thank you, my friend, for your kind words! I am happy that people acknowledge my effort and the fact that I have improved. I worked and continue to work hard in order to improve in all aspects. I have seen that work and faith pay off. I will continue working with the same faith and passion in order to become even better!
Question by Stavros Georgovrettakos
Seba, you are my favourite player! Do you think you have improved in comparison to last year? How does it feel playing for Olympiacos?
I am very happy to hear that I am your "favourite player". It means a lot to me! I believe that I have indeed improved in comparison to last year, but there is still much room for improvement. It feels great to be playing for Olympiacos: it's a great club, with great targets, great fans and a huge history!
Question by Ilias Mariolos
The fans of Olympiacos say you are a "fighter" when on the pitch and that you honour Olympiacos with your passion and dedication on the pitch. How would you comment on this opinion of the fans?
The fact that my effort is acknowledged is a real honour for me. I am a fighter and I don't give up! I play with the most passion for the shirt and the logo of the team. I will continue like this and I will try to become even better. This is the only promise I can give to the fans: I will keep working and then working some more!
