Super League and the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP), in the frame of their joint initiative to inform and raise the awareness of fans on the subject of Racism and Violence, will dedicate the Super League Championship Matchday 8, to be held in 24 and 25 October 2015, to the fight against Violence.
Super League, following the visits and activities organised by PSAP in schools and making the most of football's dynamic, participates in the aforementioned campaign aiming at reminding the fans as well as all people who love football, that Violence of any kind must not be tolerated by the public.
With the tagline "SCORE against Violence", Super League and PSAP will organise a series of actions in all stadia of the Super League clubs, aiming at informing and raising the awareness of fans.
The Super League President Yorgos Borovilos stated: "Although incidents of violence in Super League stadia have diminished when compared to the past, the goal of all people who love football is to eliminate incidents that sully not only football, but also our everyday life. Opponents on the pitch for the 90 minutes of the game and friends after the final whistle. There is still much to do and during this crisis our society is facing, our goal must be to reduce the differences and to show modesty and not fanaticism and violence."
