This new agreement continues a broadcasting partnership between Super League Greece and Forthnet that dates back to 2009.
The Super League President Mr. Giorgos Borovilos stated:
"We are very satisfied with the extension of the Contract for Central Management of TV rights for two more seasons, until 2019. During such dire financial straits, the extension of the agreement between Super League and Forthnet facilitates the club members of Super League in their long-term financial planning. I wish to thank the CEO of Forthnet Mr. Panos Papadopoulos as well as the company executives for their cooperation and the support they provide to professional football."
Super League CEO, Michael Anagnostou stated: “Super League Greece not only endures, despite the difficult circumstances our country is facing, but furthermore continues to succeed. We will keep on working hard, in order to successfully meet our next goals”.
