The MVP award of the 6th matchday was awarded to Sifis Daskalakis playing for OFI, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award to the OFI goalkeeper was presented by the club's fans, through Nikos Satsakis, following the wish of the player himself.

After the ceremony, the OFI player stated:

"This is an acknowledgment of my efforts for the club and it is very important to be rewarded about them.

Unfortunately, this honour was not combined with a win for my club, but we play well in every match and I believe that we will soon win our first match, that both we and the fans wish for so much."

He did not wish to talk further about himself:

"Every player works daily, waits for his chance to play and then does the best he can on the pitch. This is what I do and this is what I will continue to do."
