The Best Goal award of the 10th matchday was awarded to Sales Leozinho playing for Kalloni, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the North Aegean Region Governor, Mr Nasos Yakalis.

After the ceremony, the Kalloni player stated the following:

"I am really happy. I wish to thank God, my family and all my teammates who helped me achieve this."

What were you thinking when scoring the goal? We witnessed a complex move, you passed three players and shot the ball to the corner of the goal?

"I was able to pass two opponents and take a nice shot."

What is your opinion on the club's display so far?

"I believe we have had a really good start. We then receded a bit, but this victory is really important to us."

Do you believe that during this historic moment of Kalloni's first participation in the Super League, the club can achieve its goal? Namely the goal of not being relegated?

"This is our goal. To remain in the Super League and I believe we will achieve this."

Your next match is against Veria. What is your prediction for this match?

"Veria has the same goals as we do. This will be a difficult match. I believe we can have a good match and manage to win."

To what degree is the team affected by the fact that it is not playing in its stadium, with its fans supporting it?

"I believe we would be stronger were we playing in our stadium. We have always played in various stadia and the sooner we get to play in Mytilini, the better for us."
