The MVP award of the 31st matchday was awarded to Pablo De Blasis playing for Asteras Tripolis, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the vice president of the Super League and president of Asteras Tripolis, Mr Giorgos Borovilos.

After the ceremony, the Asteras Tripolis player stated:

"I am really happy to be receiving this award as a result of my performance during a difficult match against Olympiacos. This is why I wish to dedicate it to my teammates who helped me have a good display and to achieve such an important win.

The bicycle kick goal I scored against Levadiakos, that won me the relevant prize, was very beautiful. However, between the two awards I have won this year, I prefer this one because we were playing against Olympiacos and Asteras had a really great display in this match.

It is very important for a player that works hard every day on the pitch to be acknowledged like this. Awards are not an end in themselves, but it's nice to be receiving them."
