The MVP award of the 24th matchday was awarded to Nikos Kaltsas playing for Veria, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the long-standing technical director of the Veria Youth team, Mr Vassilis Zoumpoulidis.

After the ceremony, the Veria player stated:

"This is definitely a great honour. To accomplish this, your teammates have to be supporting you during the whole match. I entered the pitch as a substitute and managed to achieve what the coach asked me to do and I won this honour. I wish to dedicate this award to my family. It is exceptional. I have been after this award for a long time now. I managed to win this after many efforts and hard work. Such awards also add to the general team ethic. Following the team's displays and the subsequent, fair wins – through the efforts of all players – the club's footballers have received similar awards. I wish to thank all those that voted for me."
