The MVP award of the 25th matchday was awarded to Lucas Villafáñez playing for Panathinaikos, who topped the competition organised by Super League Greece, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the coordinator of the football divisions of Panathinaikos, Dimitris Saravakos.

After the ceremony, the Panathinaikos player stated:

On receiving the award: "This is indeed an acknowledgement. I feel very happy, but apart from the personal joy I feel, I must say that this is a team achievement."

On whether this performance against Atromitos was his best display as a Panathinaikos player: "I indeed felt very nice and it was a really good match. I would say that I felt equally nice in the match against Iraklis as well and I hope that I will always have similar opportunities."

On Dimitris Saravakos: "I hope that he will help us and that all will go well. I think he will be able to significantly help us too and, from our part, we will do our best on the pitch."
