These Christmas, one kiss in front of OPAP’s “kissing tree” or one photo with kisses that will be added to OPAP’s facebook page, is one euro for Orphanages all over Greece. One kiss of love and contribution can make a child smile…Thousands of kisses will reinforce OPAP’s efforts to make Children in need to believe in dreams again!
With the slogan “one kiss, one euro”, Opap’s Christmas Campaign, which has as main purpose the support of the orphanages of our country, will start on Thursday 19th. This year the Company, decorates a different tree, the “Kissing Tree” in the center of Athens (Voukourestiou Street) and Thessaloniki (Aristotelous Square) and waits for all of you to kiss your beloved people in front of it, in order to support children in need. From 19th December and till the 1st of the New Year we all have one more good reason to kiss each other. For every one of these kisses OPAP will offer one euro in Orphanages. Every kiss will be photographed and posted on OPAP’s Facebook application. It will also be added to the automatic counter, which will be beside the trees.
OPAP’s initiative includes everyone who feels like helping children. Even those who won’t be able to visit Opap’s “Kissing Trees”, they will have the ability to participate-during the campaign- through their computers or mobile applications. All they have to do is to make a “like” on OPAPs “Kissing Tree” facebook application and upload their own photographs with kisses. Each photo means one more euro for the Orphanages.
Everyone will visit Opap’s “Kissing Tree”: Football players, Basketball players, and lots of athletes, actors, representatives of financially supported by OPAP foundations, team’s OPAP members and OPAP’s family in general, which has proved its human “face” towards Greek society’s severe times…And of course all of you! Your kisses will make “Kissing Tree” grow bigger and bigger day by day. Do not forget, that from 19th December 2013 until 1st of January 2014, every kiss counts!
The lights will be turned on, on Thursday afternoon at 5:30 at Voukourestiou Street in Athens and at Aristotle Square in Thessaloniki. We’ll be waiting for all of you!
