The MVP and Best Goal awards of the 23rd matchday were awarded to Gojko Cimirot playing for PAOK, who topped the competition organised by Super League Greece, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA.
After the ceremony, the PAOK player stated:
On receiving the double award: "I am really happy both because of the goal I scored and because I helped my team. There are not enough words to describe how I heel. I have put my injury behind me and am ready to offer even more things to the team. When I first came to Thessaloniki and PAOK I had a difficult time because of my injury, but I am well now. I would like to thank the doctors and physiotherapists for their assistance."
On whether he has ever scored a goal similar to the one he scored against Panathinaikos and whether the fans can expect more things from him in the future: "This depends on me; I want to do more in the future and give more joys to the fans of PAOK."
On what he thinks of PAOK so far: "It's a great club, not only in Greece but in Europe as well. The conditions are really amazing."
