The MVP of the 20th matchday was awarded to Elini Dimoutsos playing for FC Atromitos Athinon, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the President of the Amateur Division, Mr Antonis Patatanes.

After the ceremony, the FC Atromitos player stated the following:

"This is a great honour for me and I wish to thank the people who voted me as most valuable player of the matchday."

"I give my best every Sunday so that the club can win. After that, I will be really happy if I receive more awards."

Does the fact that this award was given following this particular match, make this honour more important?

"It is really important to be rewarded for your performance in such a match, since we won three points we did not expect to win and this gives us bigger motivation to have a stronger display in the future."

Was this goal scored due to your luck or due to your abilities?

First of all, it has to do with abilities, but you also need to have luck by your side. I personally believe that the best goal was scored by Thanassis."

Mr Patatanes stated the following:

"This award gave Elini the passion with which he plays. I watch all his matches and he always plays with the same passion. He is one of those players that not only wish to win, but they also wish to offer spectacle too. His goal was one of the two or three best goals throughout Europe, but it was his overall presence in the match that gave him this MVP award."
