The MVP and Best Goal awards of the 4th matchday were awarded to Efthimis Koulouris playing for PAOK, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA.
After the ceremony, the PAOK player stated:
On the current season and his part in the team: "I knew I was in a very good condition, I have also had a conversation with the president and then the coach and I knew I would be given opportunities. It's not my job to say whether the team needs a striker or not. I do my job and when I am given my opportunities, I will be ready."
On working with the coach: "I have worked with the coach in the second team as well. I know him and he knows me and this is important for a player. As I said, he knows my potential and I know what he wants from me and the team too."
On what Ivić told him following the match in Tripolis: "After the match, he congratulated me. We did not discuss much because he knows what I can do and I know what he wants from me. I believe it was a match like any other; I played all 90 minutes, I did what I had to do and, following this, we will see how the coming matches go, starting from tomorrow's match. We should not stop at this match, we have a long season ahead of us."
On the goals he scored in Tripolis: "The second goal was impressive, but the first one was difficult too because my body was not in the same direction as the ball. I think that every goal is important for a striker because every goal boosts our psychology. Both goals were important for me so I will not say whether one was better than the other."
