The Best Goal award of the 11th matchday was awarded to Carlos Calvo playing for FC Skoda Xanthi, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the president of Xanthifans, Mr Lefteris Kasapidis.

After the ceremony, the FC Skoda Xanthi player stated the following:

"I am very happy to be receiving this award and my wish to always be able to score and assist my team. I believe I have scored better goals and promise to score even more beautiful goals in the future. The fans should be waiting for more from me. The important thing is for Skoda Xanthi to achieve its target, no matter who scores. The support of the fans is important for us and I expect them to come to the stadium and have a full house because we really need their support. I dedicate this award to my family and my partner who is always by my side."

Mr Kasapidis stated the following:

"For us in Xanthifans it is a great honour to present this award to Calvo; we thank him for scoring this beautiful goal and sincerely hope that he continues to score and help our beloved club."
