The MVP award of the 19th matchday was awarded to Ben Mohamed playing for Veria, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by Mr Ferreira King, member of the coaching staff of the Club.
After the ceremony, the Veria player pointed out:
"This is very important for me, as in the last few matches I was feeling I was improving and returning to my familiar standards. This award is also an acknowledgment by the fans and this is important to me."
On being voted MVP by the fans: «It is really important. The Veria fans recognise both my effort and the team's effort. This is a very important acknowledgment for everyone."
On the fact that teammates of his have received equivalent awards (either the MVP or the Best Goal awards) during the season, he said:
"It is very important. Veria are having an exceptional campaign this year. We have set high standards. The standards are high and this is proven by the fact that other teammates of mine have been presented with awards this year too."
As regards his future and whether he has decided which club he will be playing for, he replied: "I have made up my mind. This was a hard time for me; I spoke with the club and all is well now. I now focus only on our next match. The rest is managed by my agent who is in discussions with the administration as regards the next step in my career."
On whether he will continue in a Greek or an international club, he added: "My future right now is my next match with Veria."
