Question by Giorgos Plekakis
Ergotelis did not have a good start in this year's championship. What should you change as a team to have a better future in the campaign?
Reply: "We did not start the season the way we wanted to, but I believe that the team gets better with each match and proves that it can stand up to the championship's demands."
Question by Yannis Daskalakis
Following the appointment of Mr Dermitzakis, the team has won one match and had two draws. Although he has only been with the team for a few weeks, in which way has he helped you improve, in your opinion?
Reply: "Mr Dermitzakis is a coach who is familiar with the Greek conditions; he has his own philosophy that he instils to the players, but the most important thing is that he wants us to play good football, no matter who we play against."
Question by Angelos Papadopoulos
What is your goal for this year's season?
Reply: "Following our amazing campaign last year in the championship and the 7th place in the classification list, the demands are higher. I personally do not like the word non relegation because Ergotelis belongs in the Super League, but let us be realistic, this is our first goal."
What are your ambitions as a player? Would you wish to play for an international club at some point? If so, which club would you like to play for and why?
Reply: "As with every player, I also have ambitions and dreams. I am honoured to be playing for Ergotelis for so many years, but I also wish to play on a higher level and of course to play abroad. Also, my greatest dream is to play for the Greek National Team, the same thing every Greek player dreams of and I hope God will help me achieve this dream. However, the only thing on my mind right now is Ergotelis."
Which is your highlight with Ergotelis?
Reply: "My highlight with Ergotelis is definitely the promotion of the club in the Super League in 2013 following a frustrating season when no one believed in us, save the people of Ergotelis."
Which footballers participating in the Greek championship, that you have played against, stand out and why?
Reply: "I believe Ariel Ibagaza is one of the most quality players that have ever played on Greek soil. He has a football computer in his head, he is a huge player."
What do you do in your spare time?
Reply: "I spend my spare time with my friends who are an important part of my life. I love good food and going to the movies. I generally like to do things with the people I love."
What would you like to say to the fans and supporters of Ergotelis?
Reply: "I want to ask them to support the team, the new players, the coaching staff and the people of the administration who are doing all they can to make the club go higher. We thank them for everything, but they should not forget that football players are humans too; we play both for Ergotelis and for the fans as well. They can rest assured that we are doing our very best and that they will enjoy many more successes."
THE WINNER OF THE DRAW FOR THE SIGNED SOUVENIR BY ANGELOS CHANTI, OFFERED BY FC ERGOTELIS, IS MR ANGELOS PAPADOPOULOS.
