The MVP award of the 22nd matchday was awarded to Andreas Tatos playing for Aris, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA. The award was presented by the head of competition planning of the Club, Mr Panagiotis Alexandridis.
After the ceremony, the Aris player stated:
"I am happy to be receiving this award. I had help from all my teammates in this effort and I wish to thank them very much for this. I also wish to thank the people that voted for me. After that, we will try to improve the club's display as much as possible. Aris is in the last positions in the classification list and it is not worth to be there. All players have understood that we have to help the club not to be relegated. We treat every match separately and I want to believe that we will all be happy in the end."
On the percentage with which he won this award:
"To tell you the truth, I am not interested in things like this. The only thing I want is to be playing well in the field so I can help my club."
Finally, on whether he has acclimatised to his new club:
"I am happy to be playing for Aris because it is a great club and I will always say this! It is not the players' fault that Aris is in the last positions, since many things have taken place in this club, for many years now. However, both the new players as well as the old and more experienced players, we will all do our best to not be relegated."
Mr Alexandridis stated the following:
"We are satisfied with all the players and I wish to thank them very much for their efforts. Tatos was the best player in this matchday, therefore good for him! We made the right choice and we are happy for this. He will certainly help the club in the future. On behalf of the administration and all Aris fans, I thank him very much for joining our club."
