The MVP and Best Goal awards of the 29th matchday were awarded to Andreas Tatos playing for Aris, who topped the competition organised by Super League, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Players (PSAP) and NOVA.
After the ceremony, the Aris player stated:
"I did not expect to win so many awards when I came here. The only thing I wanted, was to help the club not be relegated. I had said that we will achieve this and we did it. The club did not deserve being so low in the classification list. I wish to dedicate these awards to the club and the fans as well, because everyone deserves it. No need to say more. I am happy we managed to stay in the Super League."
On how he experienced his playing for Aris and the option to continue playing for the club:
"I chose to come to this club. I like the fans, I enjoy playing home and I like the fact that the club celebrates its 100th anniversary. I wanted to come and do my best so that the club remained in the Super League. The club has been through a lot. I hope an investor will come to help the team go higher.
As you know, I have a two-year contract with Olympiacos and it is not up to me whether I will continue playing for Aris. I had a great time here. I was reborn while playing for Aris and I proved the people who chose me right.
My goal was to help Aris and furthermore prove that I can compete on top level."
